Hello! I have not been keeping up with my blogging here so I thought I'd post an assortment of favorites of photos I haven't posted here yet. I usually update my Instagram and Facebook pages with new photos daily so that's the best place to check to see the new stuff!

I haven't blogged for awhile but when I asked this client how she found me and she said by googling newborn photographers in Boise I was pretty sure that I popped up because of my blog so I decided I'd better get back to it! And what better time than in the middle of busy season! Haha! Since it is busy season, I'll let the photos do the talking! I just LOVED working with this family and I'm so glad Kristen contacted me! I can't wait to photograph your family again!

I got behind on blogging sessions during my crazy busy season and I keep thinking that I need to catch up before I blogged the most recent sessions, but I've gotta start somewhere so there's no better time for a fresh start than a new year right? In fact, Breanna's session was on the very first day of 2016.
There is a growing trend I am noticing among my high school senior clients. They don't want senior photos taken. But, their parents or grandparents DO want them to get senior photos taken. Breanna fell into this camp of not wanting senior photos, but at the end of the shoot she told me she had a great...
"Make new friends but keep the old; one is silver and the other gold." Liv and I go back to the Kansas days. Good memories with Liv and her her siblings are laced throughout the decades of my life. My first memory of the Palmer family involves my cousin Natalie and a New Years Eve dance when we were teenagers and Natalie and Liv's twin, Clint, were kind of a 'thing'. Those were the days! It's so cool that both Liv and Kimball have a twin! And now here we are -we're not in Kansas anymore (I can't count the number of times I have heard that one! haha!)- but Boise, Idaho! Who would...
Once upon a time there was a girl from the Bronx and a boy from Idaho. They met when they were both living in Puerto Rico and, the rest, is history. I lovelovelovelove the way the photos from this session turned out! And I love these people! Thanks Natalia and Darin for trusting me to capture your precious family! xo, Rebecca
I always love a beautiful gallery wall, but sometimes it can be hard to know how to arrange everything....
Such kind eyes. Completely stunning. Boise High School Senior Kimberly is beautiful inside and out and I am so, so glad I had the opportunity to photograph her. Thank you Kimberly for being so beautiful, you make me look good ;-) xo, Rebecca
Hold on little black dress, you have some competition, this little white dress is looking so good!
The little black dress! The majority of the senior girls I have photographed this year have been rocking different versions of their own Little...
Isn't it great when you end up having a wonderful work environment and friends at work that become family? This beautiful group of ladies are co-workers and I'm so glad Brooke hired me to do this stylized shoot! I am super excited to see what the future holds for all of these women! Thank you for once again trusting me to capture your vision Brooke!! xo, Rebecca
If I had to describe Rocky Mountain High School senior Ava in just one word it would be classy. However, since I don't have to choose just one word I would add that Ava is talented, smart, beautiful, gracious, kind, and poised. Ava sits first chair in the Boise Youth Philharmonic , Ada West Chamber, and RMHS Orchestras and was most recently named All-State Principal Cellist in the State of Idaho. Amazing!!! I feel like I completely lucked out to have had the opportunity to photograph Ava and get to know her family. Can we be neighbors please? Yep, that's the kind of family Ava comes from, a family...
I met with Maddie and her mom at their Boise home nestled at the end of a cul-de-sac to plan Maddie's senior session. The backyard of their home morphed into the beautiful Boise foothills and we decided we definitely wanted to take some of Maddie's senior photos against this beautiful scenery that has been the back drop of her growing up years. We also made plans to take some of her photos near the Boise River near the place Maddie likes to surf. Surfing?! In Boise? That's right! You have to see it to believe it! This Boise High Senior just finished up volleyball season and is deliberating where...
