I photograph lots of babies at the hospital but I think the thing that was so different about photographing little Charli was that I had gotten to know her parents from taking Patty’s maternity photos. I was literally crying as I was editing these and I was trying to figure out why it was making me so emotional and I think the reason why is because it was just so so tender to see and capture the joy and love and excitement that Patty and Ben have as they welcome this sweet little daughter to their family. I think all the overflowing emotion came from remembering how excited I was to be a mom when Sydney was born and how wonderful and life changing it is to become a mom. Geez, even writing this is making me all teary eyed! I hope you love looking at these photos as much as I do!
