Moments after the photo below was taken and we had just walked a few yards away, an enormous tree fell down right where we had been taking pictures. The crash was so loud that people came running from all corners of the park to see what had happened. Thank goodness no one got hurt! Memory Grove Park in Salt Lake City was buzzing with activity that day…lots of photographers there as usual, families with picnics, and of course, lots of dogs. In fact, I saw the smallest dog I have ever seen in my life! I said to my husband that it was closer to the size of a rat than a dog! According to www.city-data.com, Memory Grove Park in Salt Lake City, Utah contains several memorials dedicated to Utah war veterans. It is right in the heart of Salt Lake City, within walking distance of downtown malls and attractions with the LDS Temple nearby and the Utah State Capitol nestled on the hill overlooking the park. It is also the center of a series of hiking trails that wind through one of the state’s botanical gardens. On a sunny weekend day, the place is wonderful – lots of kids and dogs having a great time.
As always, I felt lucky to have the opportunity to photograph the Moore family! You will probably recognize these darling kids and the gorgeous Emilia from photos all over my website and social media from the last photo shoot I did in their home. The last photo shoot was for a surprise gift that Emilia gave to Corey for their tenth wedding anniversary. So this time it was great to have their entire family at the shoot!
Emilia and Corey you are such great parents! The love you share within your family is so apparent! I am so excited to share these photos with you! xo, Rebecca
I love Emilia’s impeccable style and I was the lucky recipient of some great beauty and fashion help from her when we used to live on the same street in Ogden, Utah.
She was the one who tipped me off to my favorite Halogen brand pencil skirts from Nordstrom that are now a staple in my closet. Whenever I wear mine I try to channel a little bit of Emilia style! 😉
I love Emilia’s skirt and when she said she got it at Nordstrom I of course had to look it up and at only $42 I would have snapped one up if they still had my size!
Here’s the link in case you are lucky and they have your size: Midi Mesh Skirt
These kids are so polite and well behaved!
Not to mention adorable! One of my favorite things about this photo is Corey in the background holding Emilia’s Louboutin’s! What a guy!
It was a good thing Emilia wasn’t wearing them when the sprinklers came on suddenly and we all had to make a hasty escape from the area!
Sibling love.
On your mark, get, set…
I love her face looking straight at me in this one!
So cute! If there’s dirt involved, kids are happy!
Navy Jane getting attacked with kisses by her big brother and big sister!
I love those big, beautiful, brown eyes!
And a sisterly moment at the end!
