The early morning drive to the Phillips family cabin on roads that wandered through green pastureland and past cold mountain streams was scenic and peaceful. During the last 30 minute stretch to their secluded wooded retreat my husband and I stopped several times just to gaze at the beautiful scenery. The aspen trees were particularly majestic in the morning light. The last time I had seen the Phillips family was when I lived in Dallas, which seems like a lifetime ago. Emily’s directions on how to get to their cabin were perfectly precise which was a good thing since about 10 miles from their cabin cell phone coverage ended. The air was chilly as we headed out to the first location, but it warmed up quickly. It was so cool to do the Phillips family photos in a location that was so meaningful to them against the backdrop of scenery that holds many memories for them. The Phillips children were such a cute and cooperative bunch and I was excited that I got to explore a new corner of Utah on this photo shoot adventure! Emily and Rich I’m so glad we got our schedules to work out so I could photograph your family while you were in Utah. Thank you for trusting me to capture your family photos. I’m so excited to share these with you! xo, Rebecca
What a beautiful family!
This is one amazing couple! To be able to not just survive Big Law life, but thrive, is an amazing feat! Rich is a partner at a major Dallas law firm which is no small accomplishment! I did not do a single thing to their eyes in Photoshop, they really are that bright and beautiful.
What beautiful children!
What a great big brother!
That is one impressive family!
I think this one might be my favorite shot of just the kids.
Happy family!
