Kate’s photo session in Central Park immediately followed Matt and Phoebe’s. (see previous post) Nate and George know each other and, upon seeing George, Nate said, “How was your summer George?” If you could have heard it yourself you would understand why I thought it was the most adorable thing imaginable! Two little mini New Yorkers greeting each other. It was so cute! George is such a handsome little guy and I couldn’t help but think Kate looked like Reese Witherspoon! Thank you so much Kate for giving me the opportunity to photograph your beautiful little family! xo, Rebecca
Just look at those beautiful lashes!
It was still pretty early in the day and the pathways around the Great Lawn weren’t too busy.
There was a group of about 10 birdwatcher photographers that passed by us. One of them called out excitedly that they had spotted a Robin! This was the week before the Pope came to town and I can imagine that Central Park was much more crowded on that day!
Although it was nearly the end of September, the air was warm and humid and I was getting all sweaty and I had dirt on my jeans from laying down in the wet grass to get some different angles.
I think next year when/if I go back it will either be at the beginning of September to catch the U.S. Open, or in October once it’s cooled down just a tad.
Ice cream carts were scattered around the park and the promise of a strawberry shortcake ice cream bar kept George going!
The castle in the background was so picturesque!
I am now offering some design services to my clients in the way of photo collages like the ones below. These are designed to group photos together on one print or canvas. This one below is designed for a 10×20 and can be printed straight from the gallery.
This one below is also a 10×20. I love George’s expressions!
The one below is designed to be a 30×20 and can be customized with any text (or no text) or any photo.
I also now have some tools/toys to help my clients figure out what to order for their walls. Here are a few ideas I put together for Kate to help get the ideas flowing!
This arrangement would look good in almost any spot and I adore black and white oversized photos!
I think the arrangement below could also look great above a fire place.
If anyone is getting inspired to print out some of their own photos by looking at these ideas I happen to know there are some great deals on large frames at Michael’s right now! I got an 18×24 frame there yesterday for $11! Not bad!
Symmetrical groupings comprised of squares will always be a favorite for me!
