Last month was my 20th high school reunion {gasp!} so I headed down to Cache Valley to mix and mingle with some familiar faces. Two of those familiar faces were Doug and Becky Larson, former classmates of mine at Sky View High School in Smithfield, Utah. Although Doug and Becky are both from Cache Valley they have been all over the country while Doug has been pursuing his education. Sadly, after all of that schooling they are homeless! Just kidding, kind of. They are in the process of moving from Las Vegas to Oregon where Doug will be practicing as a radiologist. However, they actually will be homeless for a month since their new home that they are building in Oregon isn’t quite finished yet! Once their home is completed they will have these fun family pictures to put up and help to make their house a home! I really do love photographing families! It’s such a unique opportunity to get to know families very quickly and get to see the love that they share. Doug and Becky have such great kids and it made me happy to see these former classmates of mine! I truly cannot believe it has been 20 years, and Becky and Doug look just like I remembered them in high school! Becky and Doug it was truly a pleasure to have to opportunity to photograph your beautiful family at Mack Park and I hope it’s not another 20 years before I see you again! Just remember that Boise is on the way to Utah and you are welcome in our home any time! Happy Trails!
