Lydia, Class of 2016, Sunnyvale High, Texas – Boise Senior Photographer

From the suburbs of Dallas, to the backwoods in Utah, this 2016 senior is one to watch! Lydia is the perfect picture of poise and grace. As I was huffing and puffing my way up the mountain with my camera gear to get to just the right spot I felt totally out of shape and I asked Lydia if she was out of breath too. She said she was, which made me feel better, but I’m guessing she really was just fine and just didn’t want me to feel bad! 🙂 Such a great girl! This beautiful location is about 30 minutes from the small town of Oakley, Utah and it was so fun to visit Franson Lane, named after my husbands grandparents, on our way home from the shoot. The area where the Phillips family has their family cabins is just gorgeous and I hope to shoot there again. I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed that one of Lydia’s 5 younger siblings will want their senior photos taken in this location as well. So much to explore! I’m so excited to share these photos with you Lydia! xo, Rebecca

Lydia is an accomplished violinist and it was fun to photograph her with her violin.

Down closer to the cabins were some groves of smaller aspen trees.

“Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both

Lydia-Senior-Photos-Utah-20

And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Lydia-Senior-Photos-Utah-22 Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,

Lydia-Senior-Photos-Utah-24

Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

Lydia-Senior-Photos-Utah-23

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.

Lydia-Senior-Photos-Utah-9Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.

Lydia-Senior-Photos-Utah-10

I shall be telling this with a sigh

Somewhere ages and ages hence:

Lydia-Senior-Photos-Utah-7

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference. “
