After meeting Margret for the first time I came away with the distinct impression that if the up and coming generation is anything like her, we are in very good hands! I don’t even know where to start with Margret, she is just such a lovely person inside and out. Samantha Barrows was the hair and makeup artist for Margret (by the way, this is included for free with all of my senior sessions) and she re-posted the photo of Margret below along with this caption: “Isn’t she just Gorgeous!! Loved meeting this old soul today!! She was so sweet and such a joy to work with!” Well I couldn’t agree more! Margret, I am so so so glad I get to work with you! I am dying over your photos! xo, Rebecca
Here Margret is wearing a vintage dress of her grandmother’s along with the necklace that her grandmother wore on her wedding day.
Margret’s ‘serious’ photos are stunning, but the photo below shows what her personality is like, friendly as can be!
I love Margret’s freckles!
Beautiful hair!
For some reason the photo below makes me think of the 1948 painting by Andrew Wyeth, ‘Christina’s World’.
Margret has such great style! I can’t help but wonder if it has been influenced by her family trips to Europe.
The setting for Margret’s shoot was on the grounds of the Shakespeare Festival amphitheater.
When I was checking out the location beforehand, the performance of ‘The Secret Garden’ was going on in the background.
Some of these photos make me think of Angelina Jolie (in her younger years)!
As we were tromping around up a hill I apologized to Margret since she was in a dress and heels and she responded by telling me that she was just fine because, in fact, she was wearing shoes from the American Red Cross. I hadn’t known there was such a thing! I believe that Margret said she got these shoes from the vintage clothing boutique where she works part time, In-Retrospect.
