I once heard that the Huntsman Family has an employee whose sole responsibility is to coordinate the massive extended family photo they do as well as manage the Christmas card production and distribution that contains the photo. You might think that is a bit excessive, but anyone who has tried to coordinate an extended family photo probably wishes they had some extra help as well! Despite all the hassle of coordinating schedules and clothes, deciding on a location and a photographer, I think that these extended family photos are truly a treasure to each family. Hats off to Richard and Connie for making this happen! I’m so glad I got to photograph your beautiful family! xo, Rebecca
I love grandparents/grandkids photos!
Memory Grove was a buzz of activity the afternoon of the Sawatzki Family photo shoot. If you have ever tried to get the attention of children this age and get them all to look in your direction with a smile,
you know how hard it is! I came prepared with a few tricks up my sleeve to get their attention, but I got super lucky because right as I was going to take this photo
an old bloodhound dog wandered down close to where I was. I quickly realized all the children had their eyes on the dog and I turned around and asked the owner if I could borrow his dog for just a minute
and he was so nice and obliged. Because of the dog I was able to have a much easier time getting all the kids to look my way and it made for a fantastic photo!
Sweet Paxton has a firm grip on Grandpa and Grandma! So adorable!
