It was so fun for me to see the photo that my client posted of the signage with the photos I had taken on it! Malaena Kelson has been in Chicago at a convention to debut a product she invented! How amazing is that!? I am so glad I got to photograph her product and also do some head shots of Malaena. I am so impressed and inspired by her!

Earlier this week I got to photograph the always stunning Jessica. What I love most about Jessica is her inner beauty. She is truly beautiful from the inside out and is down to earth, friendly and real!

I photograph lots of babies at the hospital but I think the thing that was so different about photographing little Charli was that I had gotten to know her parents from taking Patty's maternity photos. I was literally crying as I was editing these and I was trying to figure out why it was making me so emotional and I think the reason why is because it was just so so tender to see and capture the joy and love and excitement that Patty and Ben have as they welcome this sweet little daughter to their family. I think all the overflowing emotion came from remembering how excited I was to be a mom when...

In a matter of days this mama will get to meet her first born child, a little daughter! I am so glad I got to take these photos for Patty! When Patty shared her Pinterest inspiration board with me I loved her classy style and I am thrilled with the photos that I captured of her and her baby bump!. I just can't wait to meet her little baby girl!
We got a little busted while we were over by this replica of The Winged Victory of Samothrace, (also called the Nike of Samothrace). I was trying to get a little...

I have known Ethan since he was born, or actually, kinda even before he was born. I drew this illustration for his mama for a baby gift for sweet baby Ethan. Now Ethan is so grown up and such a hard working humble kid! His mom told me that she knows if it was Ethan who scored the goal because he usually puts his head down in embarrassment! What a sweet guy! Ethan and his siblings are honorary cousins to my kids and I just love their family so much!!!

I know I have said this so many times, but I really do have the nicest neighbors! This cutie pie's grandma lives across the street from me and the first time I ever met her she asked if my girls needed mountain bikes and proceeded to gift us two mountain bikes! I tell you, people in Boise are so nice! And this little guy's mama is no different...so nice! She and her husband make the most darling parents and this little guy was just a dream to work with! Such a cutie pie!! I loved taking these pictures to document his first Christmas and the overflowing love that his parents...
As the holidays approached and as things started getting busier for me with photography stuff my house started getting messier and messier and I started getting grumpier and grumpier. Enter Karissa. She has saved my sanity! Instead of a junk drawer we now have all of our pencils, pens, staplers, paper clips, erasers, hair elastics, etc... stored on the inside of a door in a clear hanging plastic shoe organizer! Genius! We also have curtains for our kitchen windows that Karissa cut and hemmed for me out of a one panel curtain I bought at Target. Now that the leaves fell off the bush that was blocking...
